Biyografi:

Timothy Sydney Robert Hardy 29 Kasım 1925 yılında Cheltenham, Gloucestershire, İngiltere'de doğdu. Oxford Üniversitesinde büyük İngiliz yazar C.S. Lewis'in yanında çalıştı ve onurlarıyla mezun oldu. 1949'da Stratford-upon-Avon'daki Shakespeare Memorial Theatre'da çalışmaya başladı. Tiyatro eğitimi Shakespeare'in birçok oyununu oynamasını ve birçok canlı televizyon şovunda başarılı olmasını sağladı. Klasik tiyatro eğitimi sayesinde Prens Albert, Winston Churchill ve Joachim Von RibbenTrop gibi birçok tarihi karakteri de rahatlıkla canlandırdı. Efsanevi aktör ve İngiltere'nin en iyi aktörlerinden biri gözüyle bakılıyor. Sahnedeki ve sahne dışındaki birçok rolü için büyük alkışlar aldı. Yine bir oyun sırasında okçuluğa aşık oldu ve 'longbow' adında bir kitap yazdı.
